My main goal with this was to avoid drawing anything like the famous Midgar overhead shot that we've already seen a million times. (That ended up working in my favor since I also couldn't afford to spend that long on just one panel.) I tried a few perspectives with more extreme angles and closeups on just one of the reactors, but eventually ended up with this. It's less dramatic, but you can see more of Shinra tower and I think it's more recognizable as Midgar.
